Dr. Alexandra Del Vecchio

Dr Del Vecchio graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2026 and completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. Dr Del Vecchio has had a variety of interests in veterinary medicine since she was a student. In veterinary school, Dr Del Vecchio was a part of the Pathology club, VIDA (non-profit community outreach organization), and assisted with research. This inspired her career in small animal general practice because not one day is the same as the next. Dr Del Vecchio grew up in Shirley, LI and got her Bachelor's of Animal Science from SUNY Cobleskill. SUNY Cobleskill offered her unique opportunities as a Pre- Vet Major to become involved in agriculture, leadership, and special projects. Dr Del Vecchio's capstone project with the SUNY Cobleskill Honors Program involved constructing a full horse skeleton model as a learning aid for future students. Dr Del Vecchio is excited to start learning and growing in her career back home at MLVH.
