Dr. Nicole Mercurio

Raised on Long Island, Dr. Nicole Mercurio completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Studies. After being presented with a unique opportunity, Dr. Mercurio went to London, England to attend Royal Veterinary College, University of London where she received her veterinary degree. Dr. Mercurio has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1999 and joined the MLVH family in 2003. Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry and all aspects of veterinary medicine. While not at work, Dr. Mercurio enjoys spending her time outdoors: hiking, camping, boating, gardening, skiing and spending time on the Long Island Beaches. Most importantly, Dr. Mercurio enjoys doing these activities with her partner and two kids. She has a plethora of animals at home including her Ausiedoodle, Louie, three cats: Ande, Everest and Jinxy, 9 laying hens and a hamster named Potato!
